I’m beginning to understand why you like BJJ, you could substitute the word life in for rolls and your post would be just as accurate.

These points work for a lot of different areas in life. Practicing perfect, slow form especially translates to all sports.

Another way to condition and bulletproof your body for your martial arts would be a good kettlebell program with swings and Turkish getups. The more I read about that, the more convinced I am that it's one of the most efficient and effective ways to build functional strength for anyone, but I know plenty of martial arts enthusiasts use them.

Wow, thanks for this. I don't even do combat sports, but these are golden personal development principles as well. I'll certainly remember this when I get into some sort of martial arts again.
