Thanks for the feedback! Tinnitus is one of my favorite areas in my field and I love the crossover it can have with stress management. Let me know how it goes as there are plenty of other strategies and approaches that can be taken based on tinnitus severity, when it is most bothersome, what makes it worse, etc.
I’ve really been enjoying all of the posts on your account as well!
This post is incredible! I also have tinnitus and am in the military. I've never heard about this challenge or tips before -- thanks for sharing, will plan to try :)
Gavin your comment is a timely reminder that I should be doing these recommendations again! I saw a definite reduction in symptoms, but I haven't been practising and noticed I was hearing more ringing just today.
I found this post so amazing, it is SO hard to find good tips for reducing tinnitus that aren't just "you'll have this forever there is nothing you can do." Kyle is the best!
Very interesting approach to the problem. I haven’t really tried to do anything about the ringing in my right ear but I’ve noticed that it seems to get much louder or annoying when I’m having a bad day or a lot of stress. It’s been a signal to take a few breaths and reevaluate what’s going on around me.
I’m going to try the planking suggestion. Gotta locate some slow country music to not enjoy.
😂. Sounds great. This isn’t my first method I use to help manage bothersome tinnitus, however, many similar concepts in training the brain to decrease perceived significance of the sound is the core approach
This was so insightful, I have tinnitus and I had never heard of these tips before, will definitely try this out!

Thank you! Haha I think "Stop bitchin’ and start habitchin’." is going to be one of my new mantras, that's gold!
